PADI Dive Courses
- Scuba Diver -
- Open Water Diver -
Schedule of our diving courses:
Our diving courses usually start twice a week: Saturdays and Tuesdays or Wednesdays, depending on request.
So the best arrival days would be Thursday, Friday and Monday.
The course begins daily at 8.30am. On the 1st day you start with a theory lesson in one of our classrooms. After a lunch break the 1st confined water session from the shore will take place.
The course ends every day at around 4.30 to 5.00pm.
The 2nd day begins with another theory lesson. Afterwards we will go on board of our “course boat” anchoring in the hotel owned marina. There you have the possibility to join us for a tasty lunch provided by our boat crew.
Next we will head to a nearby reef to continue with the confined water exercises. The last 3 days you will find yourself on our “course boat” conducting 2 open water training dives per day. After successfully completing the course you will receive an international valid diving license : the PADI Open Water Diver!
Difference between PADI Scuba Diver and PADI Open Water Diver:
The PADI Scuba Diver course and the PADI Open Water Diver course start together. But since the Scuba Diver course is only a part of the Open Water Diver course, it takes only 3 days. The participants of the Scuba Diver course also receive an international valid certification, but are limited regarding their diving depth to a maximum of 12 meter and compulsory require a professional guide whilst diving.
This course is the ideal start for those that are not “jet quite sure about diving” since both courses built up on each other. Therefore during the Scuba Diver course you are able to switch without any problems and continue with the Open Water Diver course. The 2 missing days can be easily added on and after successfully completing the whole course you receive the PADI Open Water Diver certification. As an exception every Scuba Diver course student completes the whole Open Water Diver course theory and gets this certified.
Started your diving course back home and want to finish it with us?!
The ones who already started their diving course back home (theory and confined water training need to be completed and certified) have the possibility to finish it in the warm and colourful Red Sea. The missing, so called, Open Water Dives with the corresponding exercises will be conducted under supervision of one of our qualified Instructors and also certified right away. Precondition is that your Instructor back home has filled in a proper referral form and you are presenting it during check in. Consecutive on this referral you will be able to continue your education, joining one of our current courses and get certified within 2 or 3 days (individually customized after talking to the Instructor).
